Get to know me!


  Hello everyone, I'm Annabel Juarez. I am a student here at Linn-Benton. I am a business major, and I decided to take this class because one it is a requirement and because it seems like a fun class, I also want to be able to learn how to get people attention and have them also spread the word with what I am showing them. So, I am really looking forward to seeing what I learn in this class!

  I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my nieces and nephews, they are like my best friends. I try to enjoy all the time I get to spend with them right now that they are still little, and I love knowing those memories will always be something we will all remember forever. As with my friends, I love going out with them and try to spend a lot of time with them because I don't see them as often.

  Something I am really passionate about is soccer, back then I used to play all the time. Soccer has always been my sport and although I don't play as much, I still enjoy watching the games. Especially my two favorite soccer teams, C.D. Guadalajara and FC Barcelona. I have been a fan since I can remember, I enjoy watching the games every weekend. I also love going to Mexico, I try to go every chance I get because I get to see family and friends I don't really see often. I also really enjoy it because it is a way to just forget about school and work, and I can just relax and take my mind off other things and get out of my regular routine. Lastly, this past summer I started going to CrossFit. At first, I thought I wasn't going to enjoy it but turns out it is really fun! I felt like I have done a good improvement since I started, and I hope I can keep improving with time!

The marketing news I chose was the  Honda nods to F1 icon Ayrton Senna in emotional ‘Unstoppable Dreams’ ad. . This marketing news caught my attention because we have always owned a Honda in my family, so I thought it was pretty cool. I also found this very interesting because I like how they start with something negative and turn it positive.  This article is basically talking about how Honda is taking part into fandoms relating to Formula 1 motor racing by making an emotional ad titled  “Unstoppable Dreams” . It is a minute long video that features Ayrton Senna, who passed away in a racing accident back in 1994, and also features the current FIA Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen. Social Listening- Takis

  I decided to do some research on Takis for this assignment because they are some of my favorite things to snack on. Also, their videos tend to show up a lot on TikTok or other social media platforms. Takis' value proposition is that it encourages consumers to live life to the fullest by embracing the intense flavors of their snacks. Their value proposition is communicated to customers throughout many ways, for example, packaging, metaverse, and reverse phycology.  As I was scrolling through the comments, all I could find was positive comments like "I love Takis" as we can see in the screenshot below, "Takis are my favorite chips in the world", "Eating Takis right now!", and many more. Takis uses their social media to market and brand the partnerships, it is also a way to reach their younger audience. They post their most recent Takis flavor that are going to come out soon.
